Vanessa: I am a Therapist-I am a firm believer that balance, discipline, and being grateful are key to a happy life. I like coffee, but only the flavored kind and if its starbucks I like that even better. I like going to the beach- feeling the sand between my toes makes me feel grounded. I often crave Fresh baked cookies during the day and grilled cheese sandwiches at night and I will seek out White Castle on Car trips. I am a firm believer that everything happens for a purpose ... that it is up to us to discover that purpose ... and that more often than not, we won't understand ... even if we find an answer. Sorry I have been gone so long! I have been tending to a beautiful new life the past 6 months - my sweet sweet baby daughter, Rylee...

Beginnings and endings and everything in between.

I love beginnings, but I know that endings have to come before beginnings can happen. Maybe that is why they can be so difficult. It's stepping into unchartered territory. The fear of the unknown can creep in and take over and the "what if's" can start whispering doubt in your ear. Sometimes we get so used to what we have, what we do, where we are in life, that we cling to it even if it isn't working because at least we know what we are going to get. To set out and start out fresh can be scary because you don't know what is out there, what can happen- but that is the beauty of it. With a beginning anything is possible. Yes- beginnings can be scary and frightening, but they are also exciting and refreshing... I have learned over time to embrace them. So put your brave onnnn -place one foot in front of the other and just go~ knowing that with a new beginning there is possibility…endless possibility. It may be tough at first but don’t give up because then you’ll never know what lies before you… and knowing is always better than wondering. It's a journey.... enjoy it.
